@hivecast/settings (1.1.33)
Installation
@hivecast:registry=npm install @hivecast/settings@1.1.33"@hivecast/settings": "1.1.33"About this package
Settings
Settings is one Explorer tree (decisions 0010 and 0013 in docs/decisions/): a thin page
(hivecast-settings-page) around mx-explorer over the one workspace this package's
matrix.package.json declares. Nothing in this package names a setting.
| List | Keeper | What is in it |
|---|---|---|
| You | home (system-platform, on the home's HiveDock) |
The person asking, as a thing of their own, with their tabs: Profile, Devices, Keys, Sharing, App access; Activity as their list |
| This home | home |
The home, its People tab (members and invitations), each member as a person |
| Apps | the Registry's applications list |
Each installed application, its Settings tab answered by system.preferences from its manifest |
| Machines | the Registry's hivedocks list |
Each HiveDock and what runs on it |
Every row is an actor and every tab a property set the Explorer draws with its stock views; a
person's tabs are answered by the platform's profile doors to that person alone. The page owns
only where it opens: an explorer address (arrangement, thing, facet), or the retired
page's section word (section=inference lands on the home's Inference tab).
Start lists the workspace as Settings (its launcher); the page's settings.refresh opens it
again where it is. The two inspector renderers this package ships (src/renderers) are
unrelated to the tree.
Executable owner proof
Run Demos lesson H7, You leads to your private Profile, with (demo "H7").
Its canonical packaged source is
applications/demos/src/catalogue/home-profile.ts: it asks the current home's
home.projections.you, follows that answer's exact qualified Person reference,
and reads the referenced profile property set. It prints only display name and
current-home role; it does not print email, keys, bearer material or credentials.
The same source is executed in
applications/demos/tests/home-profile.spec.ts against the hosted Home actor
tree and its platform Profile door, including an unverified-caller refusal.
services/platform/control-plane/system-platform/src/__tests__/hosted-home-actor-tree.spec.ts
separately covers bounded tenant hosting, retained-reference rehydration and
foreign-home refusal. The installed canonical-program acceptance source is
tests/browser-regression/journeys/home-profile.journey.spec.ts; the independent
visible Settings tree journey is tests/browser-regression/journeys/settings-tree.journey.spec.ts.
