About this package

@open-matrix/host-service

Standalone Matrix Host Service.

This package is the Docker-style host process boundary. It owns global ~/.matrix host state and is not the legacy matrixd app-loader.

Current slice:

• creates/reads global host configuration;
• starts a foreground host service process;
• starts shared local NATS when configured;
• supervises package runtime child processes;
• stores runtime records under the host home;
• does not import daemon code.

HTTP routes, browser bootstrap, and session/auth endpoints are owned by @open-matrix/system-gateway-http with auth primitives from @open-matrix/system-auth. Host supervisor RPC helpers are owned by @open-matrix/host-control.
